Normal Service will be resumed as soon as possible

Just a little note to say that I will post soon, as I have pictures of Harrogate and the Country Living Fair, but apparently my photo quota is full and I don't really know how to resolve it! I've noticed a lot of other bloggers seem to be experiencing this too, so am wondering if it's some kind of error, because I haven't been blogging very long really, for it to be full already.

Anyway, will try and sort it out soon as I feel like i've been AWOL for ages!

Love, Claire xxx

    1. I think it's an error Kay, if you scroll down, Bee from The Linen Cloud explains about it, but wish they'd hurry up and resolve it!

      Thanks for dropping in xxx

  4. The same has happened me. I went back and deleted some photos from ages ago, which had left blank space sin some older posts, but I really couldn't figure out what else to do. I don't want to have to pay for storage.

    1. It's very annoying, but seems to be happening to everyone, so I'll just have to wait I suppose, I've deleted lots of photos and backed them up elsewhere but it hasn't made any difference at all ... as soon as I try to put just one pic on, the message comes up. Technology, grrr!!

    1. I wasn't really aware of it until it happened Magie, but seems to be hitting lots of people at the moment, so will hopefully be resolved soon.

  6. Hi! I am infatuated with England. I love reading your blog and I just started a blog of my own called coffee with tams. Is there any advice you can give me? Or any way you can help get my blog out there in blogging world? I would sure appreciate it. Thank you so much!

    1. Hello Tammy, lovely to meet you and welcome!

The only advice I can give is have a look at the blogs on my sidebar, they're all fabulous, and just start following others and leaving messages, like you have done here! I'm popping over to you now .... xx

  7. Hi Claire

Alot of people are experiencing this ... if you go to Help Centre at the bottom of Dashboard and then to Known Issues on the right hand side you will see this message:

Some users are reporting that they're hitting unexpected image quota limits when uploading an image from Blogger. We're investigating the issue and will report back when we have more information to share.

Maybe keep an eye here to see if it is resolved ... hope you are back in action soon ... Bee xx

    1. Hello Bee, I'm glad you're around when I need you! I wasn't even sure what the dashboard was ... this is the sort of person you're dealing with!

Found it eventually, and it's just the same but hope it won't be too long before it's sorted.

      Thank you!

  9. Hi Claire,

I had the same problem too, and it is interesting that there are so many of us in the same boat.
Good luck with getting it sorted and look forward to seeing the Harrogate Fair photos.

    Happy week

  10. Its to do with the size you load your photos at - if you keep them below 480 x 640 then you don't use any of your picassa storage up (all pics over this size go into a picassa account). You can then enlarge the pics within your post when you are writing a post - this is how I do mine - the only pics I have that are oversized are the mosaics and in over 3 years I've only used 15% of my storage.

Not sure how you go back and resize old pics but if you load new ones at the smaller size you won't have any problems - hope this helps :) Vicki xx

  13. I've just discovered your blog and am so enjoying it. I had the same problem and thought it was me . I had to email myself the pictures in a smaller size and then use those and it worked but it did out me off blogging for a while . Have recharged my batteries and am ready to blog again! Happy new year!!!
